This Nurse is Still on Duty, For You

 

 

I’m a Kentucky Proud District 4 constituent who has dedicated more than two decades of my life to serving our communities, whether in healthcare, public safety, or standing up for the values we hold dear. I’m running for Congress because when no one else would step up, I did. Let’s be honest: who would willingly put their head on the chopping block in today’s political climate? But I’m a fighter. I always have been.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve had to make split-second decisions, because lives were literally on the line. Those experiences taught me to think critically, to stay calm under pressure, and above all, to never back down when something is worth fighting for. I don’t scare easily.

 

Now, somehow, I’ve found myself in the middle of a race that’s getting national attention, because of Elon Musk and President Trump’s interest in our district. So let me speak directly to you, the people I hope to represent:

 

I am not backed by either of them. Thomas Massie welcomed Elon’s money into his campaign in an effort to beat me. Honestly, it makes me smile a little, because it shows he knows I’m a real threat to the status quo. And he’s right to be concerned.

 

I’m someone who has worked alongside this community, who may have cared for you or your family during a time of crisis, who understands the real challenges we face, not from a political ivory tower, but ground level, where it matters most. Voters are waking up. They see through the smoke and mirrors.
