Meet Niki

For over 20 years, I have proudly called Spencer County in District 4 my home. My husband and I raised our children on the family farm, and now I’m seeing the same values passed on as my grandson enjoys this way of life. I’m not a politician, I’m a registered nurse who has spent my career on the frontlines saving lives and caring for others.Ā

Ā

My experience as a nurse, combined with my deep roots in the 4th District, has driven my passion to serve our community.Ā I’m running for Congress because Kentucky’s 4th District deserves a representative who will put Kentucky and America First, not just talk about it. My opponent has built a reputation as a grandstander, voting ā€œnoā€ on key America First policies that would strengthen our nation, protect our borders, and support hardworking Kentuckians. While he seeks headlines, our district is left without real leadership. I’m stepping up to fight for the people of Kentucky, stand with President Trump, and ensure that our values and priorities are not ignored in Washington.
Ā
I’m excited to work alongside you to make Kentucky’s 4th District a place where we all thrive. Together, we can make a real difference.

Education and AchievementsĀ

Earning my education required dedication, determination, and perseverance, leading to a career devoted to serving others.
Ā
I received my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree in 2017, where I receivedĀ the Human Touch Award.Ā ThisĀ was a significant honor in my nursing career. This award is given to healthcare professionals who go above and beyond in showing empathy, compassion, and care for their patients. Being recognized for this award reinforced my commitment to treating each patient not just as a case, but as a person, someone deserving of respect, dignity, and emotional support during their most vulnerable moments. It is a reminder of the power of human connection in healthcare and motivates me to continue advocating for compassionate care for all Kentuckians.Ā I was also very honored to have made the President’s List. Nursing school is no easy feat- it demands intense dedication, long hours of studying, and the ability to balance coursework, clinical practice, and personal life.
Ā
Ā
In 2019, I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN, RN), and was honored to beĀ nominated for the Student Advisory Board, where I had the opportunity to represent my peers and provide input on academic programs.

Ā

Ā

Continuing my commitment to excellence, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN, RN) in 2021, maintaining my place on the Dean’s List. I was also inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International, a prestigious honor society for nursing professionals.Ā I also had the honor of addressing my graduate class during commencement, an experience that solidified my commitment to leadership and service in the healthcare field.
Ā
I have continued toĀ pursueĀ hours towardsĀ my Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, continuing my education and passion for improving healthcare.

Career

For years, I have been on the frontlines of healthcare, starting as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and advancing to a Registered Nurse (RN). My diverse nursing experience includes traveling across the country during the COVID pandemic to address critical nursing shortages. I have also worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Long Term Care, psychiatric, and behavioral health settings, and more.

Ā

Throughout my career, I’ve always been committed to providing the best care to my patients, no matter the setting. I’ve seen firsthand the impact of rising healthcare costs, accessible healthcare in rural communities,Ā and the challenges faced by healthcare workers who are dedicated to their patients but often underappreciated and overworked. I’ve learned that healthcare is about more than just treating the illness, it’s about compassion, understanding, and ensuring our communities have access to the care they need.

Ā

This experience has driven my commitment to not only improving healthcare in Kentucky but also advocating for policies that support both healthcare workers and patients.Ā
